How to Check for Windows Updates
- Enter Check for updates in the search box.
- Select Check for updates from the search results.
- Select Check for updates.
- If updates are available, click Download & install all.
- Wait for the download and installation to complete.
- Restart your computer if prompted.
During the Update Process
- Updates may take several minutes or longer depending on the size of the update and your internet connection.
- Your computer may restart multiple times.
- Do not power off your computer during the update process.
- Some updates may require additional time to complete after restart.
Completing the Installation
Once installation is complete:
- Click Restart Now if prompted.
