What is Ally?
Ally is an accessibility tool that allows students to download alternative formats for content in their CanvasMed course. Ally alternative formats are available by default in all CanvasMed courses.
How to use Ally
Next to uploaded content in a course, you should be able to see a “download” arrow icon that allows you to preview the content and download alternative formats for the content.
*FIU has the following Alternative Formats enabled: Tagged PDF, HTML, ePUB, Electronic Braille, Audio, and Beeline Reader. Review the Alternative Formats page for recommended software to use.
